I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I earned my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I also earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Mississippi State University.
My approach to therapy is based in Existential Therapy, or logotherapy. Existentialism focuses on purpose and meaning in life. It is often paired with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as, CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My therapy style is warm, genuine, and I always strive to provide a safe and judgement free space for my clients to feel comfortable sharing their story.
